Descripción

This TECElogo mounting bracket with wall plates, also known as a mini bracket or wall plate bracket, is used when connecting a tap to a water pipe and is suitable for use with drinking water and central heating systems. The coupling is quick and easy to install thanks to the insert system, also known as push-fit system.

The coupling utilises a combination of PPSU and brass. Combining these materials makes optimal use of the properties of both materials, such as heat resistance, hardness, and a long service life. This gives you the combined advantages of a brass thread and lightweight PPSU.

Properties

The TECElogo mounting bracket has a maximum operating temperature of 70°C and a maximum pressure of 10 bar for drinking water and heating pipe systems.

Installation

The mounting bracket should be fixed to the wall using the pre-drilled holes. Fix the multi-layer pipe to the bottom and the tap to the front. To fix the fitting to the pipe, you can use the handy toolbox which includes a pipe cutter, calibration, and chamfering tools. Since the TECElogo system uses push-fit fittings, no special pressing tools are required.

The assembly of the coupling goes in a few steps:
  • Cut the pipe to size and deburr the ends to prevent any damage to the pipe.
  • Insert the pipe into the coupling and check through the inspection window to ensure the pipe is inserted far enough into the fitting.
  • The clamp ring inside the coupling creates a secure connection, with the O-rings providing the seal.
  • Made the wrong connection? Use the disassembly spanner to dismantle the connection.
After assembling, the system should be checked for tightness.
