Description
This Bonfix compression fitting can be used to easily and quickly make a connection between gas or water pipes without welding or soldering. By tightening the nut on the compression fitting, the pipe is compressed and secured. With this adapter fitting, you can make a transition between 2 different pipe sizes.
Assembly
Make sure the pipe is free of burrs. This will prevent a noisy pipe. Slide the pipe into the fitting and tighten the nut. The inner ring will then compress and 'cut' into the pipe, creating a strong connection where the rule applies: tight is tight. Do not tighten the nut too tightly, as this can cause leakage. The flattened and reinforced key surface provides optimal grip during assembly. Use appropriate tools during assembly and avoid damage.
