Description
A PVC access piece with check valve and lock is extremely suitable to locate and resolve blockages in a sewer system. PVC access pieces are lightweight and have a long service life. Installation is quick and easy.
The PVC access piece with check valve and lock has a socket at one end and a spigot at the other. The cover is easy to open.
Check valve with lock
During heavy rainfall, the municipal sewer system is sometimes unable to cope with the volume of water. As a result, the sewage from your home of building does not drain away, but instead flows back into your home of building. Installing a check-valve is a good way of preventing this is. The lock allows the check-valve to be secured in the closed position.
The check-valve also prevents vermin from entering your home or building via the access piece.
Installing the PVC access piece with check-valve and lock
Lubricating the socket will make it easier to insert a soil pipe and/or fitting into the access piece. The spigot end can be glued to an adhesive socket or slid into a socket end.
