Description
This PVC 3-piece connector can be used to connect pressure pipes, pressure fittings and accessories. An advantage of using a 3-piece connector is that you can easily and quickly disconnect and reconnect it. To disconnect, simply unscrew the union nut. The maximum working pressure of this coupling is 16 bar. This 3-piece connector, with EPDM O-ring, has a glue socket diameter of 50 mm and 1½" female thread.
Waterproofing
PVC adhesives and cleaners can be used to ensure a strong, waterproof bond. A strong, waterproof threaded connection can be created using Teflon tape, for example.
