Description
The Unifit coupling is used for irrigation, home and garden connections, and for livestock drinking water. Because Unifit couplings are not Kiwa certified, they are not suitable for use in drinking water pipes.
Properties
A wall plate can be used to connect a tap to the polyethylene water pipe. Crimp the PE pipe at the bottom and mount the tap on the front.
Installation
No special tools are required to connect the polyethylene pipe to the Unifit coupling. Saw or cut the polyethylene hose square and insert it up to the stop edge of the Unifit coupling. Then tighten the union nut firmly by hand. If necessary, the union nut can be tightened another half turn with suitable pliers or spanner. The connection is then watertight.
